Islamic education study program. Faculty of Islamic Religion. Supervisor (I) Katni, M.Pd.I, and supervisor (II) Nurul Abidin, M.Ed.. Keywords: Darul Arqam, Religious Character, discipline Education is very important for human life, because it can affect the quality of life. Character education is the first element in developing one's qualities. School as a place of teaching and education that affects the moral development of students. Darul Arqam is a mandatory activity that must be followed by SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo students who are declared to have advanced to class XII. Darul Arqam activities carried out for 3 days. The Darul Arqam program has a goal to improve faith, piety, mentality and achievement in grade 12. The Darul Arqam program contains teachings that can improve religious character, adab, discipline, motivation, and pre-test subject matter. Therefore, the Darul Arqam program is expected to improve the religious character and discipline of students. This study aims to analyze and describe the concept of implementing Darul Arqam activities in order to improve the religious character and discipline of students, implementing the Darul Arqom program and knowing the results of the implementation of the Darul Arqam program in improving the religious character and discipline of grade 12 students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive, starting with grouping the same data, reducing data, choosing the main things, focusing on the important things, and looking for themes and patterns, then drawing conclusions from data or verification, and truth checking techniques. technical triangulation data and data triangulation. The results of this study are, (1) The concept of implementing Darul Arqam in improving the religious character and discipline of grade 12 students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo Darul Arqam is a program carried out to create an Islamic spirit and implement Muhammadiyah's noble task in upholding Islamic teachings for the birth of an Islamic society. (2) The implementation of the Darul Arqam program in improving the religious character and discipline of grade 12 students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo Darul Arqam is carried out once a year for 3 days, followed by class 12 students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo. (3) Results from The implementation of the program is that students can behave well such as accustomed to wearing polite clothes, students are more obedient in praying in congregation, and are more diligent in reading the Qur'an, and are able to improve student discipline in everyday life both at school. as well as at home.
