Abstract
AVIDA CHILVY ZULBRYANTI: Development of Ropitri Mathematics Learning Media on Trigonometry Materials to Improve Students' Learning Motivation. Thesis. Ponorogo: Mathematics Education Study Program, University of MuhammadiyahPonorogo, 2022. This study aims to produce learning media that meet the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The learning media was tested on class XI MA DarulFalahSukorejo semester 1 students in the form of Ropitri learning media on trigonometry material. This learning media is expected to be able to attract students' learning motivation in studying mathematics, especially trigonometry material. This research is a development research that uses Research and Development (R&D). The model used in this study is the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Assessment of the product is carried out in 2 ways, namely the first is an assessment from material and media experts, the second is filling out student response questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires. In the trial conducted on 18 high school students equivalent. Meanwhile, the assessments of media experts and material experts were obtained from filling out a questionnaire to determine the level of validity of the media produced. The results of the research based on the development model indicate that the Ropitri mathematics learning media is valid, practical, and effective. In the first stage, namely the analysis stage, the researchers conducted observations at MA Darul FalahSukorejo by conducting interviews with the XI class mathematics teacher. Then the second stage is the design stage, the stage where the researcher begins to design the media to be developed. The third stage is the development stage developed media can be validated by experts. The results of the validation carried out by the material expert validators are 75% "valid" criteria and the results from the media expert validators are 90% "very valid" criteria. After being given advice, the researcher made a revision according to the advice of material experts and media experts. After the Ropitri learning media is said to be valid, the next stage is the fourth stage, namely the implementation stage. In the implementation phase, the media was tested on MA Darul Falah Sukorejo students in class XI. After the trial was conducted, both students and teachers were given a questionnaire to assess the level of practicality of the media and a questionnaire on the effectiveness of the media for students. Then the last stage is the evaluation stage,at this stage the media is measured from the percentage of the results of the practicality data questionnaire and the effectiveness data questionnaire. The results for the student practicality data questionnaire were 89% in the "very practical" criteria and the results for the teacher practicality data questionnaire were 93% in the "very practical" criteria. While the results of the effectiveness data measured by the Guttman scale, the results of the reproducibility coefficient of 0.9085 and the scalability coefficient of 0.62162 are in the effective category.
