Abstract
Worship is a form of devotion to God, and its influence on behavior cannot be separated. As a Muslim, it is important to have a disciplined character in carrying out daily worship, because discipline reflects the level of faith and piety in a person. This study aims to analyze and determine: (1) The influence of parental example on the discipline of worship; (2) The influence of peer association on the discipline of worship; (3) The influence of parental example and peer association on adolescent worship discipline of teenagers in Sidorejo village. This research is quantitative study with an ex post facto design. The population in this study were teenagers from Sidorejo Village, Madiun Regency, with 635 teenagers, both male and female. Determination of research subjects was done by simple random sampling technique using the formula developed by Isaac and Michael and obtained a total sample of 189 teenagers . The data was collected by questionnaire method and the questionnaire used has passed the validity and reliability test. Data analysis was performed by using simple linear regression formula and multiple linear regression through SPSS version 22. Based on data analysis results, it shows that if the value of Sig (α) is 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it means that the data pair between variables can have a significant positive effect. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Tcount test results have a value of 6.605. Meanwhile the Ttable has a value of 1.65, and the significant coefficient value is 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, the hypothesis Ha is accepted. So it can be said that the example of parents has a significant effect on the formation of youth worship discipline; 2) Tcount test results have a value of 4.995. Meanwhile the Ttable has a value of 1.65, and the significant coefficient value is 0.000 <0.05. Therefore, the hypothesis Ha is accepted. So that it can be said that peer association has a significant effect on the formation of youth worship discipline; and 3) The F test result shows that the value of Fcount (80.326) > Ftable (3.07), so that the Ha hypothesis is accepted, there is a significant and simultaneous influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable. And the coefficient of determination results shows the R square value is 0.463 = 46.3%, it means that the example of parents and peer association has a significant and positive influence of 46.3%. While 53.7% influenced by other variables that are not explained in this study. Keywords: The Influence of Exemplary Parents, Peer Association, Youth Worship Discipline.
