Abstract
Wicaksono, Tooricg Agfa Putra, 2022. Instilling Islamic Philanthropy Values in Children Through Alms Activities at SD Muhammadiyah Terpadu Ponorogo. Supervisor (I) Dr. H. Nurul Iman, Lc, M.HI and supervisor (II) Lilis Sumaryanti, M.Pd Keywords: Keywords: Planting, Islamic Philanthropy, Alms. Philanthropy can simply be interpreted as an act in the form of love for fellow human beings. The growth and development of philanthropic activities also affects the course of social life of the community. Because he is a part that will always be present in the joints of social life, as long as humans still have a sense of love for each other. Islamic philanthropy, is a derivative of the word philanthropy, which is a manifestation of love for fellow human beings within the framework of Islamic teachings. The cultivation of philanthropic values is an important effort to continue to be developed. In Indonesia, philanthropic institutions are growing rapidly, many factors influence this, one of which is the spirit of the Indonesian people who like to share. Currently, the efforts of philanthropic institutions to collaborate with other institutions, both for-profit and non-profit institutions (educational institutions, for example) are increasingly widespread. This is indeed a demand for the existence of philanthropic institutions to be more visible. For that we need a structured and systematic step through the existing system. Educational institutions currently have a big challenge, namely how to ensure the continuity of students taking their formal education to completion. Not a few students drop out due to cost constraints. The government has been looking for a solution to this problem, although all of it has not been covered by government policies, especially in the world of education. The two different entities above are interesting to be linked, namely Educational Institutions and Philanthropy. Islamic philanthropic education deserves to be developed in the school environment. SD Muhammadiyah Terpadu Ponorogo (SDMT) has carried out this philanthropy planting activity. The involvement of teachers and student elements in the process of instilling Islamic philanthropic values in schools is an important factor that cannot be ruled out. The teacher as a subject that is used as an example by the students must provide an example. This has been done at SDMT. The teacher as a figure who is able to preach with action certainly has a different impact than just da'wah bil verbal or da'wah via lectures without being followed by real steps. The fruits of this philanthropic activity will be used to help those in need out there or students who have difficulties in meeting their school needs. Through a cultural and structural approach, this activity is expected to have a positive impact on students, all school members and people who are not directly involved in teaching and learning activities at SDMT.
