Abstract

Technology in the development of the flow of production, consumption and distribution of information plays an important role. The role of technology in the process of massification of information occurs when the results of technology help change communication patterns that are limited by space and time into patterns of unlimited information communication. The Department of Population and Civil Registration has the task of assisting the Regent in carrying out the functions of supporting government affairs in the field of population administration which is the authority of the region and the assistance tasks given to districts in the field of population administration. In the digital era like today, the application of Electronic Signatures (TTE) is very important in every electronic transaction at every agency or organization. Using Electronic Signature (TTE) on all administrative documents at each agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs. To reduce manipulation or falsification of electronic documents and electronic transactions, the use of Electronic Signatures and authentication mechanisms with a certain level of assurance, as a security system in online transactions, is carried out.
