Abstract

ABSTRACT Puji Utami, 2022. Analysis of Humanism Education in Aspects of Justice and Adab Based on Tafsir Al Maraghi and Tafsir Al Azhar. Thesis, Masters Program in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Postgraduate Muhammadiyah University Ponorogo: Supervisor (1) Dr. M. Zainal Arif, M.A .; Advisor (2) Dr. Anip Dwi Saputra, M.Pd. Keywords: Education, Humanism, Fair and Adab Modern education with all modern facilities is actually increasingly losing the orientation of humanist values resulting in the failure of the education system and being trapped in the process of dehumanization. This study aims to find out three things; (1) The definition of education, humanism, justice and manners according to Al Maraghi and Buya Hamka; (2) The verses of education, humanism, justice and manners according to Al Maraghi and Buya Hamka; and (3) Differences and similarities in the interpretation of humanism education in the aspects of fairness and adab based on Al Maraghi's interpretation and Al Azhar's interpretation. This type of research is descriptive literature study. The main data sources were taken from the Mushaf of the Qur'an, the book of Tafsir Al Maraghi and the Book of Tafsir Al Azhar. The data collection technique uses the Kaelan model with note-taking techniques through quotation, paraphrase, synoptic and precise notes. After data collection, data analysis was carried out using content analysis. The results of this study can be concluded in four ways, namely (1) the important things that must be considered in education today are related to verses of humanism, especially in the aspects of fairness and adab so that Islamic education does not go out of the way of Islam; (2) All kinds of humanism education in the aspects of justice and manners interpreted by Al Maraghi and Hamka are still very relevant to be applied today; (3) Humanism education in the aspects of fairness and manners was interpreted by the two commentators based on the example of the Prophet, friends and tabi'in so that it should be used as a reference both in terms of muamalah and worship; (4) The application of humanism education based on fair and ethical aspects can assist educators in introducing Allah and His Messenger to students and fostering love for Allah and His Messenger.
