ABSTRACT Tri Rahayu, Vira. 2023. Application of Pop-Up Book Media to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Science Subjects at SDN Padas, Ponorogo Regency. Advisor (I) Dr. Anip Dwi Saputro, M.Pd, (II) Dr. Sigit Dwi Laksana, M.Pd. Keywords: Pop-Up Book Media, Learning Outcomes, Science. The teacher has a great responsibility in teaching and learning activities to create an efficient, interesting and conducive learning atmosphere. If learning is carried out well, student learning outcomes will increase. When the learning process needs to use learning media as a support for learning, one of which is pop-up book media. Pop-up book media is learning media that has a book-like shape with three-dimensional elements and can move if the page in the book is opened.This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in science subjects with the application of pop-up book media at SDN Padas, Ponorogo sub-district. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) for 2 cycles. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. This research is specifically for class IV students with a total of 30 children. The research stages used the Kemmis and Taggart models which included planning, action and observation, and reflection.The results of this study indicate an increase in student learning outcomes in science subjects with the application of pop-up book media. Data acquisition in the pre-cycle average value was 55 (7%), the first cycle was 67 (27%), and in the second cycle it was 86 (90%). The activity of students and teachers also increased, initially in cycle I by 54% and 60%, cycle II to 88% and 92%. Based on these results, it is concluded that pop-up book media can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects at SDN Padas, Ponorogo district. ABSTRAK Tri Rahayu, Vira. 2023. Guru memiliki tanggungjawab yang besar dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang berdaya guna, menarik, dan kondusif. Apabila pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan baik maka hasil belajar peserta didik akan meningkat. Ketika proses pembelajaran perlu menggunakan media pembelajaran sebagai pendukung pembelajaran, salah satunya media pop-up book. Media pop-up book adalah media pembelajaran yang memiliki bentuk seperti buku dengan unsur tiga dimensi dan dapat bergerak jika halaman pada buku tersebut dibuka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA dengan penerapan media pop-up book di SDN Padas kecamatan Ponorogo. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) selama 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini khusus peserta didik kelas IV yang jumlah keseluruhan 30 anak. Tahapan penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA dengan penerapan media pop-up book. Perolehan data pada pra siklus nilai rata-rata nya yaitu 55 (7%), siklus I sebesar 67 (27%), dan pada siklus II menjadi 86 (90%). Aktivitas peserta didik dan guru juga meningkat yang mulanya di siklus I sebesar 54% dan 60%, siklus II menjadi 88% dan 92%. Berdasarkan hasil perolehan tersebut maka disimpulkan bahwa media pop-up book dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA di SDN Padas kabupaten Ponorogo.
