Rita Firdianti. 2023. The Role of Islamic Education Teachers as Language Activators in Improving Students' Arabic Language Skills at Modern Pondok Badii'usy Syamsi Madiun. Islamic Religious Education Study Program. Faculty of Islamic Religion. Supervisor (I) Dr. Nuraini, M.Pd.I, and Supervisor (II) Azid Syukroni, M.Pd.I. Keywords: Role, Islamic Education Teacher, Language Activator, Arabic Language Skills The purpose of this research is to learn about the role of PAI teachers as language activists in improving students' Arabic language skills at Pondok Modern Badii'usy shamsi Madiun. To find out the role, the impact of PAI teachers as language activators as well as obstacles and problem solutions. This research was conducted to find out how the role of PAI teachers as language activists in improving the Arabic language skills of students in boarding schools. This research is research with a qualitative approach because it includes field research, then to collect data and information obtained through Pondok Modern Badii'usy Syamsi Madiun in the form of observation at Pondok Modern Badii'usy Syamsi, interviews with cottage care, language companion teachers, language drivers and students and documentation taken according to the daily activities of students. Researchers use a qualitative approach in extracting data, namely by using observation, interview and documentation methods. The results showed that (1) The role of PAI teachers as language activists in improving the Arabic language skills of students at Pondok Modern Badii'usy Syamsi Madiun is by 1) Controlling, supervising, evaluating the language of students assisted by teachers, mudabbir, DISLAC (Disucussion Speach and Evening Lesson Adviser Council) and LCI (language Central Information), 2) this program is a form of implementation of the vision of the cottage. (2) The impact of PAI teachers as language activists in improving students' Arabic language skills, namely 1) the language program runs effectively, 2) increasing students' Arabic language development, 3) increasing students' individual achievements. (3) The obstacles faced are 1) lack of intention in learning languages, 2) lack of memorization of Arabic vocabulary, 3) lack of understanding of Arabic supporting sciences such as Nahwu, Shorf.
