Abstract
Soybean is a source of vegetable protein in Indonesia. However, soybean farming in Indonesia has decreased, one of which is because the interest of farmers to plant soybeans has decreased because the soybean planting process is tiring and takes a lot of time. This research resulted in an automatic soybean planting robot with an Arduino microcontroller that is controlled remotely with a Bluetooth connection. Users can adjust the spacing through the smartphone application. The process of planting this robot starts from measuring the spacing using a timer that is used to adjust the length of the dc motor path, making the planting hole and inserting the seeds using a servo motor. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the results obtained are in the form of precision planting distances between soybeans, the difference between manual planting using this robot is that the time needed for this robot is slightly longer than manual planting, but the costs incurred are far less than the planting process. manuals.
