Abstract

Financial performance ratio analysis is one of the analyses that can be used to find out the performance conditions of a company. Using this analysis, it can be known how a company is in order to a previously set goal. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge for the company inining the viability of its business. This research aims to find out how the financial performance of telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) before and at the time of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2018-2021. This research uses descriptive analysis with quantitative methods. The population in this study is a telecommunications company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI). Sampling method using purposive sampling techniques of four companies. Data collection using documentation methods using published corporate financial statements. The results of the research showed that the entire company on the sales side had improved both before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. On the profit side, the company that continued to earn profits from the year 2018-2021 is PT Telecommunication Tbk, despite the fluctuations, while the other three companies suffered losses. The financial performance of the telecommunications company has not changed significantly either before and during the Covid-19 pandemic.
