Abstract
RA Muslimat NU 085 Pulosari is an educational institution with a main focus on early childhood development with an Islamic approach. In the current era of digitalization and advances in information technology, efficient file management is needed to ensure smooth administrative processes, ease of data access, and maintain the security and confidentiality of information. However, currently the archiving of files at RA Muslimat NU 085 Pulosari is still unstructured, which can cause several obstacles such as difficulty finding the files needed, the risk of losing files, and errors in archiving. Designing a file filing management system using the Levenshtein Distance algorithm is one way to increase efficiency, accuracy, in file management, and support the creation of a structured, effective and modern administrative environment. Based on the results of the implementation and testing of the file archiving management system, the results of the base case test show that the application of the algorithm can run well in the trial of searching for some data. Based on performance testing with the browser developer tool, it can be concluded that the data search process takes no more than 200 ms. In black box testing, positive test results were obtained, ensuring that the system meets the expected functionality and consistency requirements. While the results of usability testing get a score of 87.5 which means the information system gets an excellent score.
