Abstract

Siska Fibriliani. The factors that determine the political attitude of the people in the village head election in Jetis Lor Village, Nawangan District, Pacitan Regency. Thesis. Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, Advisor I Dr. Sulton, M. Si, Supervisor II Dr. Ardhana Januar Maharhani, M.KP. In the election of the village head there is an interesting phenomenon, namely the growing opinion that the previous village head was good, so there is an opinion that the village head will be elected for the next period, but in fact the community elects a new village head. From this phenomenon it is interesting to reveal the causes of the community's decision to drop their political stance or their choice of the new village head candidate. This study aims to: 1) Know the political attitudes of the people of Jetis Lor Village 2) Know the factors that influence the political attitudes of the people of Jetis Lor Village. This research is a qualitative research. Qualitative research is a research process that seeks to understand human or social phenomena by creating a complete and complex picture that can be presented in words. As for this research, in collecting data using observation procedures, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results of the study are: 1) The form of the political attitude of the people in the election of the Village Head in Jetis Lor Village as seen from rational instrumental actions prioritizes aspects of ability seen from the data obtained 81.2% agree on aspects of ability, then from value-oriented rational actions more priority aspects of decency/morality and exemplary aspects seen from the data obtained 83.5% and 85.9% agreed on these two aspects. Furthermore, from traditional actions, 42.4% prioritized the practice of money politics, then lastly, from affective actions, 82.4% of the public prioritized aspects of planning. 2) The factors that determine the political attitude of the people in the election of the Village Head in Jetis Lor Village, namely that seen from the sociological model 82.4% prioritize educational factors, the social psychological model does not prioritize discussion factors with family or discussion with groups, then the economic model 43 .5% prioritize family economic factors.
