Abstract
SCIENTIFIC WRITING: MENTAL NURSINGCARE OF SCHIZOPHRENIA PATIENTS WITH NURSING PROBLEMS OF RISK OF VIOLENT BEHAVIOR By: EISA GITA ARDANI 20613388 The risk of violent behavior is one of the symptoms experienced by schizophrenia in a condition where a person takes actions that can harm himself, others and the surrounding environment both physically and verbally. The purpose of this scientific paper is to provide nursing care to clients with schizophrenia with risk of violent behavior which includes assesment , data analysis, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation of nursing. This nursing care was carried out on 03 January 2023 – 07 January 2023 in the Sadewa room RSJD Dr. Arif Zainudin Surakarta for 5 days with the nursing process approach method. The results of this study the client experienced a risk problem of violent behavior. Implementation of nursing is given by giving action implementation strategies, consisting of the first implementation strategy, namely BHSP (building a relationship of mutual trust), identifying the causes of anger, signs of symptoms that are felt, violent behavior that has been carried out, the consequences of behavior that has been carried out and how to control anger by take a deep breath and hit the pillow/mattress. The second implementation strategy is to take medication regularly. The third implementation strategy is verbal training. The fourth strategy is spiritual practice. The results of the final evaluation the client is able to repeat the first to fourth implementation strategies smoothly, can explain the causes of anger, the signs of symptoms that are felt, the violent behavior that has been carried out, the consequences and how to control anger. Clients with a risk of violent behavior need support and motivation to control the violent behavior that is being experienced and the role of the nurse is needed in the implementation of nursing care, this can help in the client's recovery.
