Abstract

A bag is a container used to store all types of goods. For students, bags are a necessity that must be carried during school time to be used to carry student books according to the student's schedule for that day. In the school environment, students must follow existing disciplinary regulations, namely bringing books according to the lesson schedule and doing homework. Negligence that is often found in the teaching and learning process is that students do not bring course books and students do not complete homework assignments on time. If students violate the rules that have been made, they will be given a warning or punishment system that will deter the perpetrator. The research aims to create an Arduino-based student backpack system which will have a working principle, namely the system detects data on the names of books that will be included in the student's bag, can remind subjects according to the schedule and can remind about existing homework assignments using sound media. and SMS notifications (Short Message Service) Keywords: Bag, Schedule, Book, Student, Arduino, SMS
