Abstract

Susi Susanti, 2023, Implementation of the Outdoor Learning Model in the MIM 3 Ngunut Ponorogo Student Reading Literacy Program, Thesis, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Undergraduate Program. Keywords: Implementation, Outdoor learning, Reading Literacy Islam is a religion that is very perfect in organizing and facilitating all good matters in life. Reading literacy is one of the madrasah's efforts to develop student achievement. In carrying out an educational program, the teacher's efforts are to provide models or strategies that can make things easier, such as the reading literacy program at MIM 3 Ngunut Ponorogo implementing an outdoor learning model or flipped classroom which makes reading literacy look more conducive and run orderly. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive techniques with a flow of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results found in this study are: (1) Implementation of the outdoor learning model in the reading literacy program for MIM 3 Ngunut Ponorogo students through certain stages. These stages are, before class starts, when class starts, and after class starts. (2) Inhibiting factors in implementing the outdoor learning model in the reading literacy program for MIM 3 Ngunut Ponorogo students in the form of: Students lacking focus in carrying out this program because it is carried out in an open place, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, lack of team motivation regarding the reading literacy program , Less interesting strategies, Lack of collection of reading books in madrasa libraries, Lack of number of picket teachers or reading literacy supervisors in madrasas, which makes it less conducive for children.
