Abstract

The Grape Dungus tourist area is a potential area has an area of teak tree forest, mixed jungle and has a river with its clear water which has been managed and has become a tourist area asset education for Perhutani and also Madiun Regency. Most visitors Those who come are interested because they want to enjoy the forest atmosphere and enjoy it the gurgling flow of the river to be used as a place for playing in the water, bathing, and extreme things. There are no officers yet regarding the conditions for using the river regulate and supervise security due to river flow during the rainy season River flow conditions cannot be predicted. Based on the information It was reported that in 2017 there had been a student from MTS Bani Ali Mursad, Banaran hamlet, Kerik village, Takeran sub-district, Magetan regency following out bond activities, he was swept away by the river current and according to the victim survived not knowing when the river suddenly overflowed and washed away 6 of their colleagues. This research is designed to create a monitoring system river water levels with long distance communication using technology LORA. The design process will use a water level sensor, Arduino nano, DF player, LORA RFM95 module and light indicators. The working principle Implemented in this design is that the system will monitor the water level river with 4 levels, namely 20cm, 50cm, 75cm and 100 cm which results the reading will be sent to the receiving system with LORA communication. Meanwhile, the receiving system will receive sensor reading data from the system sender whose results will be applied with an indicator light or alarm danger according to the conditions read on the sensor in the sending system. Monitoring water level and early detection in Grape water tourism using technology LORA can now work properly.
