Abstract

ABSTRACT NURSING CARE FOR CHRONIC KIDNEY FAILURE PATIENTS WITH ACTIVITY INTOLERANCE (Case Study at Dr. Harjono Regional Hospital, Ponorogo Regency) By: META CAHYANINGTYAS NIM. 20613364 The nursing problem that often arises in patients with chronic renal failure is activity intolerance caused by the kidneys being unable to maintain metabolism and fluid balance in the body due to uremic syndrome. This causes a decrease in hemoglobin in the blood. This case study aims to provide nursing care for patients with Chronic Kidney Failure with Activity Intolerance. Nursing care for Chronic Kidney Failure patients was carried out at Dr. Harjono Hospital, Ponorogo Regency for 3 days in August 2023. The method used was a case study design, namely the problem solving method with a nursing process approach. The results of the assessment showed that the patient experienced problems with activity intolerance throughout his body due to a decrease in hemoglobin, namely Hb: 9.8 g/dL. Nursing actions taken to overcome the problem are energy management. After carrying out nursing actions, Mrs. T can be partially resolved. Nursing care for Chronic Kidney Failure patients with activity intolerance that has been carried out well by nurses should be maintained and improved further in order to obtain maximum and effective results. It is also hoped that the assessment will be carried out more comprehensively so that all problems experienced by the patient can be addressed.
