Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of readiness of the Sampung Village community in response to the development of the Reyog Ponorogo Monument. The study was conducted in Sampung Village, Sampung District, Ponorogo Regency. Data collection techniques included interviews and documentary studies. This research method falls under qualitative research using the Community Readiness approach to assess the community's readiness by examining variables such as community knowledge, community resource management, community cooperation participation, and community trust. Data analysis was performed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the Sampung Village community has not shown a good and significant readiness in anticipating the establishment of the Reyog Monument. Among the five readiness variables studied, the Sampung community has not met these variables at the present time.
