Abstract
The Role of the Family Welfare Empowerment Team in Empowering Women in the Family (Case Study of Doho Village, Dolopo District). Thesis. Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program. Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Supervisor I Ambiro Puji Asmaroini S.Pd., M.Pd. Supervisor II Dr. Sulton, M.Sc This research aims to 1) determine the role of the Family Welfare Empowerment Team in empowering women in families in Doho Village. 2) determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Family Welfare Empowerment Team in empowering women in families in Doho Village. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques use interviews and documentation, then the data is processed using data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction. The results of this research show that the role of TP PKK in empowering women is very effective, especially in programs that have been developed, including clothing programs, food programs and education and skills programs. Programs that are less developed include mutual cooperation programs, health programs, environmental sustainability programs and healthy planning programs. Meanwhile, programs that have not yet been developed include programs for the appreciation and practice of Pancasila, housing and household management programs and cooperative living programs. Supporting and inhibiting factors for the PKK towards women's empowerment include the existence of simultaneous and targeted programs, responsible human resources, financial assistance from the government, the decreasing number of PKK volunteers/cadres in the villages. In this case, the Doho village PKK does not lack cadres, but the management still really needs support from the community in order to achieve the success of an activity, due to the limited ability and low level of education of cadres, the lack of support from the board of trustees. In this case, the Doho village PKK always receives good support from the village head as the board of trustees.
