Abstract
ABSTRACT WEB-BASED SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR THE ELECTION OF ACHIEVEMENT TEACHERS IN MAN 2 PONOROGO USING THE WEIGHT PRODUCT ALGORITHM Abstract Currently, MAN 2 Ponorogo has 87 teachers, both civil servants and non-civil servants. So far, assessment of the selection of Outstanding Teachers is still carried out manually and tends to be subjective with direct appointment by a team of assessors who are proposed to the Head of the Madrasah. The manual assessment system is very risky for errors occurring during assessment, thereby harming the principles of orderliness, efficiency, economy, effectiveness, transparency and responsibility. The assessment team is limited in carrying out assessments in an orderly, efficient, economical, effective, transparent and responsible manner, so a system is needed that can accommodate these needs. Using the weighted product method can be an alternative solution in helping the Assessment Team to select outstanding teachers according to predetermined criteria. The application development method for creating a decision support system for selecting outstanding teachers uses the waterfall method and in final testing the system uses black box testing. The final result of this research was that testing the application functionality using a black box test found no errors and ran according to the desired design and the system was able to provide recommendations for outstanding teachers with a good level of accuracy and efficiency.
