Abstract

ABSTRACT THE RELAHTIONSHIP OF DIETARY PATTERNS WITH NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN ADOLESCENTS AT SMAN 1 SLAHUNG Free Ardiana Putricia Valentina Faculty Of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo E-mail: frevalentina0908@gmail.com Adolescence is a time when there are various changes that take place quickly such as physical, cognitive, psychosocial and behavioral changes, where these changes are closely related to the nutrients they consume. The diet of adolescents will determine the amount of nutrients needed by adolescents for growth and development are staple foods, side dishes of animal protein and vegetable vegetables and fruit. The habit of ignoring food consumption will result in the body not receiving adequate nutritional intake so that it will affect the decline in nutritional status. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between diet and nutritional status in adolescents. This research method is quantitative with a cross sectional design. The population in this study was 302 students with a sample of 75 taken using the simple random sampling technique. The data collection process uses questionnaires with chi-square analysis. Based on statistical tests, p-values (0.020) < (0.05), shows that there is a relationship between diet and nutritional status in renaja at SMAN 1 Slahung, thus it is expected that adolescents always pay attention to the diet they consume so that there is no more nutrition and less nutrition.
