Abstract

The nature of cattle adaptation to the agroecosystem conditions of a region is also an important aspect. However, cattle are also susceptible to various diseases. Some examples of diseases in cattle include: Bloat (colds), mouth and hoof problems (FMD), anthrax diseases, cow snoring attacks, bacterial brucellosis. The obstacles faced are a lack of equipment and facilities, as well as a lack of knowledge for new breeders. The solution is to build an expert system with forward chaining as a solution. Cyclomatic Complexity (quantitative measurement of the logical complexity of a program) of a flow graph can be calculated using the formula V(G) = E – N + 2. So, the complexity is V(G) = 5 - 6 + 2 = 1. Linearly independent paths produce The base set is a sequence of paths as follows: 1-2-3-4-5-6. When the application is executed, it can be observed that one of the resulting basis sets is 1-2-3-4-5-6, and it can be seen that each node is executed once. It was concluded that the results of testing this expert system contributed to increasing information related to the diagnosis of disease in cattle, involving aspects of symptoms, disease definition, causes and solutions. Apart from providing diagnoses, this system also has the potential to expand knowledge for farmers. The website created has the ability to diagnose diseases in cattle based on the symptoms entered. In addition, this site provides complete information regarding identified diseases, including disease names, definitions, causes, and solutions. All this information can be easily accessed by the general public through publications on the website.
