Abstract

Fuel engines are the most widely used type of internal combustion engines in Indonesia. Its population is growing year by year. But these conditions are not comparable to the availability of fuel which is getting scarce from year to year so people think to find alternatives to saving fuel. According to previous research, mixed fuels will improve engine performance and efficiency as well as reduce exhaust gas emissions. The purpose of this research is to find out which mixture of ron boosters, eco racing and methanol produces the best performance. The result of the highest Torque Research obtained with a pertalite mixture with 2 eco racing C2 pills with a value of 13.69 Nm at rpm 9000 is superior to 5.56% of the C0 with the value of 12.97 Nm. For the average resulting power, the maximum average average is obtaining on a mixture of Pertalite with 2 ecocarring C2 tablets with an value of 22.22 HP at 10000 rpm or higher is 21.15% of C0 at 18.34 HP at the same rpm. HC gas is pertalite with a ron booster that is 746 ppm, but the mixture of perstalite with 2 eco racing pills is 749 ppm. The value of such a little bond is 0.02%, the value of 2 ecocarring pills and also Ron booster is still lower when compared to pure pertalites that is at the figure of 1123 ppm. For the CO gas containing the lowest value obtained that is in the mix of pertalit with two eco race pills that is 1.60% this figure is lower than pure percalite that produces CO gas by 1.89%, this proves that the mixing of Pertalite and 2 eko racing tablets can lower the CO result due to a more perfect combustion.
