Abstract
ABSTRAC SCIENTIFIC PAPER: PSYCHIATRIC NURSING CARE OF SCHIZOPHRENIC PATIENTS WITH NURSING PROBLEMS RISK OF VIOLENT BEHAVIOR (In Sadewa room of RSJD Dr. Arif Zainudin Surakarta) By: YUNI NURAINI 21613422 The risk of violent behavior is a change in a person's behavior that is expressed with anger by showing that the person can harm himself, the people around him, physically, emotionally, sexually, verbally. This case study aims to provide psychiatric nursing care to patients at risk of violent behavior which includes assessment, medical diagnosis, data analysis, intervention, implementation and evaluation of nursing. This nursing care was carried out on January 22, 2024 – February 04, 2024 in the Sadewa room of Dr. Arif Zainudin Hospital, Surakarta for 5 days. The method used in the preparation of this Scientific Paper is an interview with a nursing process approach. The results of the assessment obtained data that Mr. Y spoke in a high tone, spoke in a loud voice, sweared, stared sharply and clenched his hands, from the results of the assessment obtained a nursing diagnosis of the risk of violent behavior. The implementation of nursing is provided to overcome problems by carrying out nursing actions based on SIKI by carrying out nursing actions to monitor the presence of potentially dangerous objects, monitoring the safety of goods brought by visitors, practicing how to express feelings of anger assertively, practicing reducing anger verbally and nonverbally with benson relaxation, in addition to that the author also carried out SP 1-4 actions (implementation strategy) based on NANDA NIC NOC, which is the first implementation strategy to identify the cause of anger, signs of symptoms felt, violent behavior that has been committed, due to behavior that has been carried out and how to control anger by taking a deep breath and hitting the pillow/mattress. The second implementation strategy is to take medication regularly. The third implementation strategy is by verbal training. The fourth strategy is spiritual practice that aims to control violent behavior and anger and to build a trusting relationship between the client and the nurse. The results of the evaluation obtained by Mr. Y changed after taking nursing actions based on SIKI and SP 1-4 (implementation strategy) based on NANDA NIC NOC, Mr. Y was able to control his anger and the violent behavior committed was reduced. With this nursing care, it is hoped that it will be able to prevent and control anger and excessive violent behavior in patients with mental disorders, especially patients at risk of violent behavior so that the anger expressed does not hurt yourself and the people around you.
