Abstract

Cerebrovascular Accident Infark patient with long bed rest can experience the risk of pressure ulcers, which is a condition where the skin located on the protrusion of the bone ocure fiction or presusure so that there is a risk of opening or wounding. This case study aims to carry out nursing in CVA Infarction patients with nursing problems at risk of pressure ulcers. The method used in the preparation of this scientific paper isi the problem solving method through the nursing process approach. This research was conducted in the Flamboyant II room of Darmayu Ponorogo Hospital for 3 days of activities starting on May 6-8, 2024. The result of the assessment obtained data that the patient experienced a risk of pressure ulcers which wash indicated by bed rest for five days in the hospital, characterized by a change in skin color in the area where the diaper was worm, the patient’s skin was moist, the patiend said the back area felt hot and itchy, the patient was not wearing clothes and did not use a mat/cloth. Interventions carried out to overcome these problems include using a therapeutic approach, namely changing beds and providing education, namely teaching how to care for the skin by using olive oil as a lubricant for massage in areas at risk of pressure sores. Then the result of the implementation that has been done are Mr. K skin condition gradually improved Mr. K. then the result of the evaluation of Mr. K development were obtained for three days, namely the problem of pressure ulcers risk has been resolved. Nursing care for patient Cerebrovascular Accident Infark with nursing problems at risk of pressure ulcers is expected to be a reference of nurse, especially in handling Cerebrovascular Accident Infark patients who have the risk of pressure ulcers by taking a therapeutic approach and teaching education on how to care for the skin.
