Abstract
ABSTRACT MENTAL NURSING CARE FOR SCHIZOPHRENIA PATIENTS WITH NURSING PROBLEMS RISK OF VIOLENT BEHAVIOR (Case Study in the Kresna Room at RSJD Dr. Arif Zainudin Surakarta) By: Novita Eka Ratnasari 21613433 Violent behavior is a form of behavior that aims to hurt someone both physically and psychologically. The impact if violent behavior is not addressed can be dangerous to oneself, other people and even the surrounding environment. This case study aims to provide mental nursing care for schizophrenia patients with nursing problems at risk of violent behavior. In this research, the method used is a case study with a nursing process approach which includes assessment, formulation of a nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. The results of the assessment showed that the patient went berserk, slamming furniture and banging his limbs against the door. The patient said he felt angry and annoyed because he heard his parents arguing. From the results of this study, no differences were found between theory and facts so that the nursing diagnosis determined based on problem priority was Risk of Violent Behavior. Nursing implementation is carried out for 6 days, starting from one SP SIKI and continuing with SP 1-4, with the aim of controlling the patient's anger or annoyance. The results of the evaluation show that achievement is in accordance with the specified outcome criteria, proven by the patient being able to practice deep breathing, speaking well with nurses and fellow patients, taking medication correctly and being willing to pray and pray, which is done independently and/or with the assistance of a nurse. After carrying out nursing care, the author can conclude that the problem of risk of violent behavior in Ms. I have decreased.
