Abstract
A doorbell is a device used to notify the occupants of a house that a visitor wants to enter or has arrived at the front door. When someone presses the doorbell, the household members will know that someone is waiting through the sound produced by the bell. Based on this, the doorbell system is still relatively simple, only utilizing the bell's sound when pressed, so sometimes the homeowner does not know that someone is looking for them when they are away. Most of the people in the author's neighborhood work outside the home, and other household members also have activities outside the home. So, during working hours from morning to evening, most houses are empty, making it difficult for homeowners to know if someone is visiting their house. From this situation, a doorbell with sound feedback equipped with an IoT-based camera was created. The doorbell system utilizes Telegram Messenger as the input and notification medium. The principle of operation of this doorbell is that when a visitor presses the bell, the system will automatically send a notification via Telegram to the homeowner, informing them that a visitor is waiting at the door. The system will send a photo of the visitor or the person who pressed the bell to the homeowner's Telegram, so the homeowner will know who is coming even if they are away. The homeowner will also be given the option to notify the visitor via sound feedback that they are away or to unlock the door, so the visitor does not have to wait long for the homeowner to come out.
