Abstract
A baby swing is a device designed to provide gentle rocking for infants and to serve as a substitute for parents holding the baby, offering comfort, calm, and helping the baby fall asleep. Most swings used by parents are still manual and require human effort to operate, leading to parent fatigue and time taken away from household activities. When parents are engaged in other tasks, their distance from the baby limits their ability to respond quickly and accurately to the baby's cries, resulting in the baby crying continuously. Babies need entertainment to prevent boredom and crying; one form of entertainment is playing soothing music or melodies that can help them fall asleep easily. There is a need for the development of a smart baby swing system that can move the swing automatically, send remote notifications to parents when the baby cries, and play soothing music or melodies automatically. The Smart Baby Swing with Telegram Notifications and Soothing Music addresses these issues by using sound sensors to detect the baby's cries and motion sensors to detect discomfort, with adjustable movement duration between 1 to 10 minutes accompanied by soothing music. The application used for sending remote notifications to parents when the baby cries is Telegram, and a Website is used for data backup storage.
