Abstract
Porang plant (Amorphallus Muelleri Blume) is one type of tuber from the Araceae family that is currently widely cultivated by farmers, especially in Indonesia because in addition to having the potential to have high economic value, porang has many benefits in various fields. Fertilization is one factor that needs to be considered in porang plant cultivation. There are three elements that are very much needed for the growth of plant tubers, namely N (Nitrogen), P (Phosphate), K (Potassium). In addition, fertilization costs are also quite high, which is 40-60% of maintenance costs or 15-20% of production costs. This causes the use of fertilizers that are ineffective and inefficient and also disrupts environmental balance. This study aims to build a decision support system to determine the best type of fertilizer in the growth phase of porang plants in increasing yields using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The criteria used are K content with a weight of 0.45, N content with a weight of 0.26, P content with a weight of 0.16, fertilizer price with a weight of 0.09, and fertilizer dose with a weight of 0.04. The results of this study obtained the best fertilizer recommendation from a number of alternatives provided, namely NPK 16.16.16 fertilizer with a preference value of 0.8025.
