Abstract
Abstract Capacitor Discharge Ignition (CDI) Type of Direct Current (DC) is one type of electronic ignition systems on motorcycles that the principle works is by utilizing the fast by electrostatic discharge capacitors to provide a voltage surge on the primary coil ensuing high-voltage electric induction in the secondary coil. High voltage power from the secondary coil, then flows into the spark plug to provide a spark jumps in the combustion chamber. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the installation of electrostatic capacitance capacitor in Capacitor Discharge Ignition (CDI) Type of Direct Current (DC) to power the motor, HC exhaust emissions levels, and the levels of exhaust emissions of CO on a motorcycle Honda Supra 125 cc. The method used in this research is the analysis of experimental methods using one-way ANOVA test data with the data requirements have been tested for normality and homogeneity. One-way ANOVA analysis includes an explanation of how much influence the variation of capacitance electrostatic capacitor installation to power the motor, exhaust emission levels of CO and HC exhaust emissions levels.
