Abstract

Direct instruction is a structured learning model and focuses on delivering material directly by the teacher. In the context of moral aqidah, this learning model is expected to be able to provide a clear and practical understanding of the ethics of dressing in accordance with religious teachings. The aim of this research is to (1) find out the direct instruction learning mode in the subject of moral aqidah. (2) know the dress etiquette of female students. (3) determine the influence of the direct instruction learning model in the subject of moral aqidah on the dress ethics of female students at MTs Negeri 2 Ponorogo. This research is quantitative research with simple linear regression analysis techniques. The population of this study was 65 female students using a probability sampling technique, namely a sampling technique that provides equal opportunities for the entire population to be selected as sample members. The analysis used in this research is Pearson product moment to determine the relationship between independent variables and related variables. The instrument is in the form of a questionnaire to be used to measure the direct instruction learning model in the subject of aqidah, morals and dress ethics for female students at MTs Negeri 2 Ponorogo. The results of this study indicate that (1) the direct instruction learning model in the Aqidah Akhlak subject for 11th-grade students at MTs Negeri 2 Ponorogo is in the good category with a percentage of 75.4% (49 students), (2) the clothing ethics of students at MTs Negeri 2 Ponorogo is in the good category with a percentage of 64.4% (42 students), and (3) the results of the hypothesis testing analysis, through the questionnaire scores, show that the t-calculation and t-table at a 5% significance level, where the data obtained from variable X resulted in t-calculation of 2.979 and t-table of 1.669, confirmed with a significance level of (0.004 < 0.05). It is concluded that there is an influence of the direct instruction learning model on the Aqidah Akhlak subject on the clothing ethics of 9th-grade students at MTs Negeri 2 Ponorogo.
