Abstract

Pellets as chicken feed ingredients that are compacted through a mechanical process. The design of the pellet mixer and molding machine is intended to increase production efficiency and effectiveness so that pellet production increases. The test results show that the size of the pellets produced by this pellet molding machine has a diameter of 4.5 mm and a length of 5 mm, in a 5 kg dough, the material can be molded in 8.5 minutes. The first minute the dough enters the mold, the molder changes the dough into pellets quickly.
