Abstract

Children under five years of age (toddlers) are the age that needs to be taken into account in maintaining health, because toddlers are the developmental period most vulnerable to cases of malnutrition. One of the actions that needs to be taken to improve the health level of children under five is to determine nutritional status. One way to find out the growth and nutritional status of toddlers is by participating in posyandu activities. Currently, the parameters commonly used in posyandu in determining the nutritional status of toddlers are only based on the anthropometric index Body Weight for Age (BB/U), which is contained in the Healthy Towards Card (KMS) with data processing for toddlers not being specifically program-based. In determining the nutritional status of toddlers based on Body Weight for Age (BB/U), it does not specifically indicate whether toddlers are thin, fat, tall or short. In order to be more effective and efficient in determining the nutritional status of toddlers, a system is needed that can help determine the nutritional status of toddlers which includes types of anthropometry that influence determining the nutritional status of toddlers, such as age, gender, weight and height of toddlers. Based on these problems, in this research a system will be developed that can predict the nutritional status of toddlers using the fuzzy Tsukamoto method. With more optimal data processing, it is hoped that it can become a benchmark for monitoring the health and growth of toddlers apart from using the system currently running, namely Katu Towards Health (KMS) and also to make it easier for posyandu officers and parents to more easily find out the nutritional status of toddlers. From the nutritional status prediction system for toddlers using the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method, the nutritional status output results were obtained, namely malnutrition and good nutrition. This research uses three tests, namely testing the Fuzzy Tsukamoto Method with the Anthropometric, Blackbox, Whitebox Method. Of the 30 samples used to test the results of the fuzzy Tsukamoto method with the anthropometric method, this system obtained results with an accuracy level of 90%. In the black box, the system test results were successful according to expectations. In the white box, algorithm testing is carried out and the output results are consistent and can be stored in the database according to the Fuzzy Tsukamoto algorithm.
