Abstract
Bank Pundhi Arta Indonesia, located in Sekolanan, Magetan, provides a diverse array of banking product and service, prioritizing friendly service and supporting local economic growth. The Human Resource Management department focuses on maintaining employee quality of life and fostering company growth. For job promotions from funding officer to teller, a Decision Support System (DSS) utilizing the TOPSIS method is employed to ensure objective evaluation based on criteria such as attendance, tenure, education, and performance. The TOPSIS method guarantees that each alternative approaches the ideal positive solution while distancing itself from the ideal negative solution, using Euclidean distance to measure proximity to the ideal solution. Alternative priorities are determined through comparison with relevant time frames. System testing was conducted using both white box and black box methodologies. White box testing included the creation of a flowgraph, cyclomatic complexity calculation, path testing determination, and basis path testing, resulting in a cyclomatic complexity value of 2 with three main test paths. Black box testing verified that all system components functioned correctly based on the provided inputs. Test results confirmed that the TOPSIS algorithm aligns with theoretical expectations and demonstrates high accuracy. Manual calculations matched the system outputs perfectly, confirming the correct implementation of the Decision Support System. Therefore, the developed system is reliable for the employee promotion decision-making process at Bank Pundhi Arta Indonesia, addressing supervisors' time constraints in evaluations and considering other relevant factors related to job promotions.
