Abstract

The right media promotion can help increase product sales from Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises. On the other hand, the availability of information about products and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is also very important and needed by consumers. Therefore we need a media or application that can promote MSME products and provide information on the product appropriately and effectively. The application is a software unit that is made to serve the needs of several activities such as trading systems, games, community services, advertising, or all processes that are almost done by humans. Android is a Linux-based operating system designed for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers that already have many users around the world. Using an Android-based application is expected to help businesses and consumers in meeting the needs of appropriate and effective promotional media. The method used in designing this application is the waterfall method. The design of this application uses the Java and PHP programming languages, while the database uses Firebase. Based on the implementation trial it can be concluded that this application is running well. The results of this study in the form of an Android-based application that displays the promotion of a product from a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Ponorogo, and displays information on products and Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises. This application is equipped with a search feature that makes it easy for consumers or users to find the location of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and search for a product from the business
