Abstract

The impact of mass media that started feared especially implications for children .The level of watching television among children has been very high .The high use of television it is dangerous for kembang they grow. According to in tankard steinfeld, 2005, said that before the age of 12 years, the average child will watch 101.000 episodes of violence in television. This is the background the need for this investigation that we get a what should we do to save for our nations future through understanding educators us about literacy media as capital to technical assistance for their students when accessing media content .In this research problem was calculated as follows: 1). How educators understand mass media that affect attitudes and behavior participants didiknya. 2). How impacts media perceived educators to the students. 3) .How dialectics media content held. 4).What contribution literacy educator media for us .It is expected that the this research benefit, to find out. It is expected that the this research benefit, to find out, in research it aims to get educators understand mass media that affect attitudes and behavior participants didiknya, to know the impact of media perceived educators to the students, and to know how dialectics media content held, and also to know the literacy educator media for us. Literacy media as a skill communicate in competent through mass media both print and electronic. The center for media literacy (Cml, 2003) states that literacy media includes some ability: ability to scrutinize media, capability of producing media, the part of the media, the ability to explore the media system, the ability explored many position and the ability to think critically over media content. So much influence mass media this recognise the importance of educators now to understand what is that the media, and the positive function can use for students. Through understanding the mass media this teacher can influence even mensiasati media how to benefit from the media for the process of education childrens. A not possible to deny the presence of mass media ditengah-tengah our lives currently. Educator need to increase teaching provisions to understand the details of mass media. Provision is mainly to build views of teachers in response to the dynamics of students being very quick to access information and educator can provide best guidance to students without having to happen gap information between students and pendidiknya. Educators have to understand things contextually media impact of students in general. Are required so that educators more alert to influence the media so they are more responsive in anticipation of the worst the impact of the media to the students. Like the scientific filsafati that has grown, the mass media likely to dialectics to find the truth.
