Abstract

Nyeri sendi merupakan suatu peradangan sendi yang umum dialami lansia yang ditandai dengan pembengkakan sendi, warna kemerahan, panas, nyeri dan terjadinya gangguan gerak. Masalah yang muncul sering muncul adalah pada lansia adalah nyeri. Tujuan studi kasus ini adalah untuk memberikan asuhan keperawatan lansia yang berhubungan dengan nyeri kronis. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi kasus ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi pada Tn. J meliputi pengkajian, diagnose keperawatan, intervensi, implementasi, dan evaluasi keperawatan. Selama 3 hari mulai tanggal 25 Desember 2020 -27 Desember 2020. Hasil pengkajian Tn. J mengeluh nyeri pada kedua persendian lututnya. Nyeri terasa cenat cenut dengan skala nyeri 7, Nyeri dirasakan saat ingin tidur malam dan bangun tidur pagi, Tindakan keperawatan yang dilakukan adalah yaitu mengobservasi nyeri secara menyeluruh, memberikan teknik non farmakologi yaitu kompres hangat, memberikan health education yang berhubungan dengan nyeri yang dialami klien. Nyeri kronis pada Tn. J teratasi sebagian, keadaan umum klien baik, klien mampu memahami penyebab nyeri yang dirasakannya, keluhan nyeri berkurang dengan skala nyeri 4. Studi kasus ini diharapkan mampu memberikan motivasi dalam upaya peningkatan pengetahuan khususnya pada pasien lansia dengan masalah nyeri sendi untuk mencegah komplikasi yang tidak diinginkan. Joint pain is a common joint inflammation experienced by the elderly which is characterized by joint swelling, redness, heat, pain, and movement disorders. The problem that often arises in the elderly is pain. The purpose of this case study is to provide nursing care for the elderly related to chronic pain. The method used in this case study is interview, observation, and documentation on Mr. J includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation of nursing. For 3 days starting on December 25, 2020 -December 27, 2020. The results of the assessment of Mr. J complained of pain in both knee joints. Pain feels squeamish with a pain scale of 7, Pain is felt when you want to sleep at night and wake up in the morning, Nursing actions taken are observing pain thoroughly, providing non-pharmacological techniques, namely warm compresses, providing health education related to the pain experienced by the client. Chronic pain in Mr. J is partially resolved, the client's general condition is good, the client can understand the cause of the pain he feels, pain complaints are reduced with a pain scale of 4. This case study is expected to motivate an effort to increase knowledge, especially in elderly patients with joint pain problems to prevent unwanted complications.
