Abstract

ABSTRAK SITI AVIYANTI : Analisis Soal High Order Thinking Skill pada Buku Siswa Kurikulum 2013 Kelas VIII Materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel. Skripsi. Ponorogo: Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, 2021. Skor kemampuan matematika siswa di Indonesia dari hasil studi PISA tahun 2018 masih rendah, dikarenakan siswa Indonesia terbiasa mengerjakan soal-soal rutin saja. Rendahnya kemampuan siswa ini berpengaruh dengan tidak tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yang dipaparkan oleh Kemendikbud 2013, yaitu salah satunya meningkatkan kemampuan intelektual, khususnya kemampuan tingkat tinggi siswa. Ditinjau dari tujuan pembelajaran tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis muatan soal HOTS pada Buku Siswa Matematika Kurikulum 2013 Kelas VIII Materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis dokumen. Dokumen yang dianalisis pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh soal yang ada pada Buku Siswa Matematika Kurikulum 2013 Kelas VIII Materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel, mulai dari subbab 5.1 hingga uji kompetensi. Prosedur pengumpulan data untuk menganalisis soal pada buku yang diteliti oleh peneliti meliputi, mengumpulkan, mengidentifikasi, merumuskan, menganalisis, dan memvalidasi soal yang telah dianalisis oleh peneliti, serta menghitung presentase soal. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah mengkategorikan jenis soal pada masing-masing sub-bab dan uji kompetensi berdasarkan tingkatan dalam taksonomi bloom, menghitung presentase dan jumlah soal dalam masing-masing tingkatan berdasarkan taksonomi bloom, serta menghitung presentase dan jumlah soal yang termasuk dalam tipe HOTS dan bukan HOTS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa presentase soal HOTS pada Buku Siswa Kurikulum 2013 Kelas VIII Materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel adalah sebesar 26,47% dengan tingkatan menganalisis (C4) sebesar 22,06%, mengevaluasi (C5) sebesar 2,94%, dan mencipta (C6) sebesar 1,47%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa tingkatan menganalisis (C4) lebih mendominasi pada Buku Siswa Matematika Kurikulum 2013 Kelas VIII Materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel, karena pada buku ini banyak soal yang mengharapkan siswa dalam penyelesaiannya mengaitkan informasi-informasi yang ada pada soal, jadi siswa tidak hanya sekedar mengaplikasikan rumus yang telah diberikan. Thesis. Ponorogo: Mathematics Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, 2021. Score of student’s mathematical ability in Indonesia from the resuly of the PISA studi is still low, because Indonesian students are accustomed to working on routine questions only. The low ability of these students has an effect on not achievieng the learning objectives described by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2013, which is one of them improving intellectual abilities, especially high-level abilities of students. Judging from the learning objectives, this study aims analyze the content of the HOTS question in the Mathematics Student Book Curriculum 2013 for VIII Grade the System of Linear Equation of Two Variables Chapter. This research is qualitative descriptive study with a document analysis approach. The documents analyzed in this research are all the question in the Mathematic Student’s Book Curriculum 2013 VIII Grade on the System of Linear Equation of Two Variables Chapter, starting from sub chapter 5.1 until to competency test. The prosedure to collect the data for analyze the question in the Mathematics Student Book is collecting, identifying, formulating, analyzing, validating the question that have been analyzed by the researcher, and calculating the percentage of question. The technique to analyze the data in this research is to categorize the types of question in each sub-chapter and competency test based on levels in Bloom’s Taxonomy, calculate the percentage and total of question in each level based on Bloom’s Taxonomy, and calculate the percentage and total of question which includes HOTS and not HOTS. The result showed that the percentage of HOTS questions in the Mathematic Student’s Book Curriculum 2013 for VIII Grade on System of Linear Equations of Two Variables was 26,47% with a level of analyzing (C4) is 22,06%, evaluating (C5) is 2,94%, and creating (C6) is 1,47%. From these result, it can be seen that the level of analyzing (C4) is more dominant in this Mathematics Student Book Curriculum 2013 VIII Grade on the System of Linear Equation of Two Variables Chapter, because this book there are many questions that expect students in their solutions to relate the information contained in the questions, so students do not just apply the formulas that have been given.
