Abstract

During pandemic of COVID-19 learning activity is held by Online. Listening class becomes more boring when the learning activity is monotone. This learning strategy is on purposed to make the Listening class becomes active and interesting. Active and interesting class will make students more excited to learn during learning activity. The strategy has been implemented to third semester of Listening to Dialogue and Mini Talk class of English students of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. The strategy consist of three stages which are preliminary activities, core activities, and final activities. In the preliminary activities students are being introduce with the strategy and a little material that will be learned. The students connect their experiences with a new knowledge. In the core activities students learn about new vocabularies to understand the material. Students learn also about making listening material, making question and answer it. In the final activities student will have a test individually. Material and questions will made by lecturer. After a test, the lecturer and student will discuss about the things that both lecturer and students have learned during leaning activity. The result of implementation is good.
