ABSTRACT Rinta Setyo Rahajeng. The Influence of Tiktok Applications on Early Childhood Emotional and Social Development in Magetan Regency. Thesis .Depatment of Early Childhood Education, Muhammadiyah University of ponorogo. Advisor 1 Betty YuliaWulansari, M.Pd , Advisor 2 Arta Ekayanti, M.Sc. This study aims to: determine whether there is an effect of the tiktok application on the socio-emotional development of early childhood. The population includes all children aged 5-6 years in Magetan Regency. The samples of this research were parents of students who have children aged 5-6 years who are familiar with the Tiktok application. The data collection technique that is used in this study is a questionnaire while the instrument used refers to the standard indicators of child development achievement. Furthermore, the number of respondents obtained as many as 48 people. The data analysis technique is to see the results of the influence of the x variable on the y variable with a simple linear regression test. This study used the help of SPSS 18 for Windows with a simple linear regression analysis technique that produces a value of t count (2.250) > t table (2.013) and for a significance value of 0.029 < 0.05. And obtained an R value of 0.315 and an R square of 0.099, which means that the use of the tiktok application has a weak positive effect, which is 9.9% of the impact on children's social-emotional development. Thus it can be decided in this study that Ha is accepted. Keywords: Tiktok Application, Social Emotional, Early Childhood
