Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Wafa Method in Memorizing 3 Surah Juz 30 in Group A at RA 'Aisyiyah Trenceng, Mrican, Jenangan, Ponorogo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were used to see the application of the Wafa Method in Memorizing 3 Letters Juz 30 in group A. The interviews were addressed to the wafa teachers of group A, and the principal. Documentation is seen by looking at the child's achievement card. The results show that the Wafa method used uses the 5P technique which includes Opening, Experience, Teaching, Assessment, and Closing. Through this application, the material that group A memorized in semester 1 was the letters An-Naba, An-Nazi'at and Abasa. Most of the children of group A are fluent in memorizing the 3 letters. However, there are some children who are not yet fluent.
