Abstract

This thesis is entitled the analysis of the press system reporting on Radio Republik Indonesia Madiun in implementing the news press system at the RRI Madiun institution. Reporting on RRI Madiun, has a high concern in presenting news and presenting balanced information so that it does not cause noise for the listeners of RRI Madiun. Therefore, a good process is needed so that issues that have hard news can be structured properly according to what is to be achieved in meeting the information needs of the community.The purpose of this study was to find out what theories were used by the radio republic of Indonesia (RRI Madiun). In this study, researchers used qualitative methods. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, draw conclusions/verification.The results showed that the application of the press system at the RRI Madiun institution. Based on interviews with research informants, researchers can find out about the press system for reporting on RRI Madiun so that it can be used as data analysis material for the factors behind RRI Madiun using the press theory system adopted. The results obtained by RRI Madiun only apply four press systems, namely the theory of the responsible press system, the theory of the Soviet media system, the theory of development media, and the theory of democratic media.
