Abstract

Data and information on the internet network are important things that need to be secured because personal data is vulnerable to data leakage. Personal data identity theft also occurs in E-commerce which can lead to reduced consumer confidence in these E-commerce services. In E-commerce, Gallery Marjoko's antique furniture has not implemented system security. So the researcher provides a solution to implement Password hashing by using the bcrypt algorithm for the security of the sales system on antique E-commerce Furniture. Password hashing is a one-way algorithm, meaning that when an encrypted Password cannot be decrypted again. The bcrypt algorithm is hashing Passwords with an increased number of iterations to make them slower and more durable against attacks. So this study aims to improve the security of the consumer data sales system for E-commerce users of antique furniture at the Marjoko Gallery.
