Abstract
ABSTRACT Covid-19 is a disease that attacks the respiratory system and has recently spread to various countries in the world. Covid-19 infection can be transmitted through saliva splashes (droplets) that are released when a person with confirmed Covid-19 sneezes, coughs, or talks. The Covid-19 pandemic is an unprecedented event. The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit Indonesia has had a very significant impact on all areas of people's lives, such as the economy, health, social and culture. To suppress the growth of the virus, which is increasingly spreading, the government takes steps to carry out vaccinations that are regulated with the first and second doses. Vaccines are given free of charge to all citizens who are of the age to do so. In this study, we will discuss what role the village government will play in controlling its citizens who refuse to be vaccinated, the reasons for refusing the vaccine by digging up information and conducting direct interviews with the residents concerned and how the Nailan Village government handles its citizens who refuse to be vaccinated. Discussed the efforts to overcome Covid-19 in Nailan Village and how the Nailan Village government handled its residents who might be infected with Covid-19. This study uses qualitative research methods where all the data obtained comes from interviews with pre-determined sources and also conducts research and direct observations in the field. Data from qualitative research were obtained from interviews, observations and pre-existing written documentation. Before conducting research, conduct informants first so that they get accurate information as desired, determine the location of the research and what data is desired to support the smooth running of research and accurate data. As far as the author has researched, the efforts carried out by the Nailan Village Government have been going well, ending with many residents choosing to vaccinate and achieving the predetermined target of up to 80%, with the remaining residents being elderly and sick so they cannot vaccinate.
