Abstract

The development of village tourism is a task for all village components, both the government and the community. In addition to the government and the community, of course, external support is also one of the important things that must be there. This study aims to study further about the amount of assistance for the development of the Sedodok Embung which is also included in the planning in the RPJM-Des for the development of the Sedodok Embung. This research was carried out in Manuk Village, Siman District, Ponorogo Regency. The data collection in this research is qualitative with observation, interviews, and documentation. The method used in data analysis is descriptive. This paper shows that the construction of the Sedodok Embung since 2017 until now has not been able to be said to be optimal. The construction of the Embung which is currently still a fishing ground and a source of irrigation for the fields in Manuk Village and villages near the Manuk Village area. This is influenced by several factors that have caused the development of the Embung to remain stagnant to date, namely: 1). Lack of funds, 2). Pandemic, and 3). road access.
