Abstract
ABSTRACK Novia Dewi Lutfi Azizah (18221736) with the title The Role Of The Village Government in Empowering The Community Of Former Overseas Migrant Workers in Developing Oyster Mushroom Cultivation in Lembah Village, Babadan Subdistrict, Ponorogo. This study aims to determine: 1) What is the role of the Village Government in empowering former foreign migrant workers in Lembah Village, Babadan Sub-district, Ponorogo. 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in Community Empowerment of Former Overseas Migrant Workers with Oyster Mushroom Cultivation in Lembah Village, Babadan Subdistrict, Ponorogo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data obtained through interviews and documentation. The location of this research is Valley Village, Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency. Where there is an oyster mushroom cultivation group whose members consist of former foreign migrant workers in Lembah Village. The formation of this oyster mushroom cultivation group is an effort from the role of the village government in improving the economy and creativity of the ex-migrant community. Therefore, the empowerment of ex-migrant workers from abroad in developing oyster mushroom cultivation in Lembah Village, Babadan Sub-district, Ponorogo is interesting to study. During the research process, the data obtained by the researchers came from interviews conducted by several informants including the Valley Village Head, Head of the Oyster Mushroom Farmers Group, and the Former Migrant Community. From the results of this study, it can be said that the role of the Lembah Village Government in empowering the community of ex-overseas migrants in developing oyster mushroom cultivation here is to bridge between ex-migrants and the parties concerned to provide training and socialization facilities aimed at developing the creativity of the community of foreign migrant workers. , especially in this oyster mushroom cultivation group.
