Abstract

One of the factors that affect the performance of a motorized vehicle is the type of fuel. Fuel that has octane will produce good performance, it's not always like that. The choice of fuel must be taken into account with the compression ratio of the motor. The prime mover, in principle, is a device that converts heat energy into mechanical energy. Currently, the combustion engine is the main choice to be used as the prime mover. Therefore, efforts to create a combustion engine that produces high capabilities are still being pursued by humans. In the torque test, the PMP 30 mixture produces the highest average torque at 2650 rpm with PMP 30 fuel, which is 10.11 N.m. While the PMP 20 fuel at 2650 rpm produces the lowest average torque of 9.73 N.m, while the power that produces the highest average is PMP 30 fuel which produces an average of 7.9 HP. While the PMP 10 and PMP 20 fuel both produce an average of 7.7 HP. Tables and graphs at 2000 to 7000 rpm the average power produced increases. And at 7000 to 9000 rpm the average power produced decreases. The results of the exhaust gas emission test with a CO standard from the government of 1.5% - 3.5%, the fuel that enters the standard is PMP 10 and PMP 20 at 9000 rpm, while the HC standard from the government is 200 ppm - 400 ppm of fuel that enters the standard, namely PMP fuel 10, PMP 20 at 3500 rpm and fuel PMP 20, PMP 30 at 5500 rpm.
