Abstract

Increased competition between leading companies to improve company performance in order to achieve company goals. This relates to the value of the company as measured by the stock price. The high value of a company symbolizes its prosperity, and serves as a benchmark for investors who are considering investing. This research was conducted on the LQ45 index companies in 2021 which aims to see the health of a company that can be viewed from the value of the company. So that it can be used as an evaluation to determine the direction of the development of the company's value during the research period. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of annual financial reports consisting of balance sheets and income statements for LQ45 index companies in 2021. The analysis of this study uses quantitative analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that firm size has a negative effect on firm value, leverage has a positive effect on firm value, profitability has no effect on firm value, and together firm size, leverage, and profitability have a positive effect on firm value. Firm size, leverage, and profitability are able to explain the company's value of 18.2% while the remaining 81.2% is explained by variables outside the research variables.
