Abstract

ABSTRACT Dila Surya Pratama (18221742) with the title Ponorogo Community Perception of the Regent's Leadership Sugiri Sancoko (Regent's Policy Study in Development in Ponorogo). The purpose of this study was to find out how the public's perception of the leadership of the Regent Sugiri Sancoko in development policies in ponrogo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with interview and documentation techniques. Data obtained through interviews, and documentation. The location of the research is in Ponorogo Regency because recently Ponorogo Regency has only held a regional head election, and during his leadership there were pros and cons in the community, therefore it is very interesting to examine. Researchers got this data and information from 15 informants who have various jobs, where these informants are of course residents of the Ponorogo community. From the results of this field research, it can be concluded that the public perception of the leadership of the Regent of Sugiri Sancoko is very varied, many of the people say that the current leadership is better. They also said that the regent, Sugiri Sancoko, was a regent who was very close to his community and pro wong cilik. Keywords: Community Perception, Leadership, Development
