Abstract

Electricity is a universal basic need (general). The electricity generated comes from other energy sources, including: water, nuclear, steam, and fuel oil. Excessive consumption of electricity will cause electricity to be scarce. From these problems, the idea emerged to design an "Android-Based Smart Classroom Control as an Effort for Electrical Efficiency". Based on the analysis carried out, the system that is run using Arduino Mega 2560 with ESp8266 is able to detect the number of incoming and outgoing presences using a Laser Pointer and LDR, the system is also able to provide fresh air naturally when the presence is less than 5 and the temperature detected by the LM35 is still 28℃ and below, the system is able to run the cooler automatically when the presence reaches 5 and above and the temperature detected by LM35 is above 28℃. The end result of the tool is able to create an electrical efficiency of 63%. The performance of the tool is quite good and the result is that there are no errors in command execution.
